A busy restaurant and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The seafood chowder has a lot of real ingredients (I.e. fish pieces) and etc but it was little bit watery, not a lot of cream and flavour for my liking. The lamb shanks may need to be cooked a wee bit longer to make it a bit more tender, flavour-wise is very similar to the soup (needed extra pinch of seasoning). Overall it was a pretty good feed and I would recommend to others.Note: The mussels with a bit of garlic were really nice !!

In Timaru for work so sussing out some great Southern bluecod . Bennys Again is a real pearl. Great food and fantastic service. Will be back and would recommend .

Absolutely loved it. The kids thought it was way better than bk and Mac Donalds so that says it all. Amazing atmosphere and staff could not pick on a single thing thankyous so much kids meals 15 adults between 20-40

The ambience was lovelymusic in the background, delicious meal, great hospitality, such a wonderful experience!! The beef Angus burger was a bang on 10/10. The Thai curry and the spaghetti were delicious as well highly recommended

A wonderful place with good food and a homely atmosphere. You can see that the owner puts her whole heart into this place - she showed us photos, told us the history of this venue. The restaurant has an interestingdecor. The menu has a variety of dishes. Large portions. It's great that they add fresh salad to the food, which is not standard. We ate ribs, cod and baked seafood. We were pleased. The prices are affordable. We highly recommend it, it's really worth visiting this place!

The food was absolutely delicious the service was too notch and wonderful atmosphere would definitely recommendThe staff were amazing and they even did takeaway dessert for us as we were to full to eat there which was delicious will definitely revisit if I am ever back in Timaru

Welcoming friendly service with a huge smile, great atmosphere great food, big meals fresh and tasty !! excellent lemon lime and bitters mix probably the best iv had in Timaru.Fully recommend dining out in this friendly well run establishment.
